so far. the first week of school has been halfway decent, with only a handful of homework to be done at home, mostly in math. let me get this straight, i love mrs. yowell, dont get me wrong, but her homework is abolutly the death of me. i would rather write my 20 page senior thesis than do 10 problems out of the AMC book. its terrible. end of story

but on the other hand, i have classes with at least 1 of my friends, so im not totally alone. i dont ha,ve any classes with mandy for the 2nd year in a row, which pretty much sucks, but we still hang out in the gym at lunch doing stuff for the cosplay group, like dance ajustments and blocking and all around brainstorming for our performance. which makes me wonder why no one answers their phone anymore.(but thats not until another post)

and if bradley doesnt stop talking about how digimon is so great, i think im going to lose it.

i think ive found james replacement, except more annoying.

o well, let the school year do its toll.

until next time

Tony

So this week has (and will be for that matter) been extremely "entertaining". So many things are going on at once it’s making my head spin. Especially when they hit you out of the blue. I mean, juggling a girlfriend, a cosplay group, and two very weird individuals called parent, I’m surprised that I’m not in the loony bin right now. oy.

Well, this week started fine, got some constructive critisism from the group about planning meetings, which I took into account and implemented. Though I feel a little sorry for momo. She’s the member that brought up the problems with meetings on a blog on LJ. I honestly wish she would have told me face to face, I didn’t find out about it till a few days later, and it was Mandy who told me. To this day, (like, a week later), momo still hasn’t even so much as mentioned her concerns or the blog.

Let me get this out right now: I AM NOT AFRAID TO TAKE CRITISM!

As a matter of fact, I take critisism very well, and I don’t see any sense in keeping something from me that will lead to a better experience in the group! If you have any way of making things better, then damn it, TELL ME! I CANT READ MINDS HERE. Mandy even suggested to me that she might have been nervous to tell me because shed hurt my feelings. Let me tell you something about me, k? As before mentioned, I take critisism very well, and if I do get negative comments, I try to make them constructive. All I ask is that group members just tell me whets wrong, if anything, so that I can fix it. Threes no point complaining about a problem if you won’t let the people in charge know about it.

*end rant*

so, after I had called everyone about the meeting in advance, which, by the way, I think I like better than my old day-before shit, I get a little call from my good friend Talyn, who is a member of the group. She says shell prolly be going camping with Zelly, but would call me if things changed. Just as I thought, things were going good; she springs that bad news on me. So apparently, one of Chelsea’s friends, who I believe is Sonya, went to talyns workplace and basically accused Mandy, Adam, and the rest of the group for that matter, of continuing to harass Chelsea by way of craigslist and other "means". apparently Sonya told Talyn that little miss muffin had decided to press charges against Mandy and the group (or maybe it was just Mandy? me no know)

you know that feeling where once someone tells you something, you double over because it feels like someone just punched you in the stomach? Well I had one of those times. That oversized doughnut is still complaining about us. Damn bitch get a life. There’s more to life than making sure that ellipsis is no longer on the face of the earth. Doesn’t she have school work to worry about? Oh, that’s right; the lardass must’ve flunked out of her classes for lecturing the professor. Will she ever learn???? Maybe a swift kick into her gelatin ass by a police officer will get things back in order...

anyways, so I tell talyn to call Mandy right away. Fast forward to next day. I call Mandy to make sure that we could do some dancing on Sunday. She mentions that talyn talked to her. Instant hour long phone call. Not a bad on, mind you, but defiantly an important one. To sum it all up in a nut shell, she said that talyn had left a voice mail on her phone, and that she had let her mom listen to it.

This is why I love that family. Her mom basically goes into "aw hell no " mode, and calls either the police or the vice squad or some policing force. Mandy then tells me that a police officer is coming to her house, and she wanted to know if I would testify. Oh the excitement. Actually, my heart was in my throat and I told her that. Well, time goes by, and I call him again to see how things went. So apparently the guy didn’t go to the house, but called instead. Still cool here’s where my memory is a little iffy. I don’t understand what she said to me. Lol

I think things are ok, but I’m not sure. We’ll talk about it at the meeting.

So in other news, my wonderful Girlfriend Amanda is coming up from Sin City to hang out up here for a couple days. She’ll be at the cosplay meeting and pretty much any place that I go, including roaring springs on Tuesday. Things will be abso-fricken-lutly beautiful.

So that’s what going on with me.....wow I didn’t think it would go this long. Lulz.

I think I’m gonna finish watching the Olympic road race and go to bed! Laterz

so i just so happened to be browsing one of the greatest websites in the world at 3 in the morning, when it hit me. with all the trailers ive been watching, i might as well start some of my pre release reviews. so i list the title of the movie, the trailer, and then a little blurb about what i think.. enjoy!

The Mummy 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOuFrecJaz8

*chuckle* well, isnt this just the most interesting add-on to the Mummy series. once we thought it was all over folks, they bring us this. you know, i was all for the last two mummy movies, but i have a couple not so happy points to make about this one.

1. i cant help it, but there is just something about the MUMMY bieng placed in a place like,oh say, CHINA! were they in their right minds??? To me, this may be the thing that drives people away after the opening weekend, which i project will be a low one for this release. many of us grew up to love the egyptian atmosphere that seemed to bring the movie to life, to give it meaning, but throwing in a far east plotline and a trek to to the orient just seems like a little much to me. it also takes away from what the mummy built up in the past, which leads me to my next point.

2. there are many changes happening to the cast and crew of the movie. for example, the origional evelyn(rachel weisz), will not be reprising her role. not only that, but the son of brendan fraser(who is a young boy) has been replaced by a 26yr old man. good greif. way to be on consistancy. regardless of the fact that it is set in 1946, dont you think that the kid for The Mummy Returns could look old enough to play the part? not only that, remember the dude with the falcon? well, hes not coming back either. according to imdb, the excuse is that his aura puts him in egypt, and in egypt he will stay. what a bunch of horse $#!&.

as it looks, it may seem like i really have nothing good to say about this movie, which is not true. by the looks of the trailer, it seems to have some pretty good laughs in there, and not to mention our good friend jonathan is back to reprise his role as that crazy money hungry relative. overall, however, this gets a low rating of 4/10. i dont expect this to be much at opening, and is probably not worth your time or money.

next time: JP4 try and figure it out!

The Amazingness that is G.U.(and other tidbits from my week)

one word to describe the week........WOW! so much has happened this week alone, i think i am still on a rush. first of all, it was finals week at school, and i am glad to say that i passed all my classes! what a relief i'll tell ya, but there are some people i know *cough* Laura *cough* that like to overachieve. ya, so she got a 100 percent on her chem test.

grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

oh well, i was sick of that class anyways. more power to her if she wants to go AP. i personally want to get as far away from that classroom as possible. when it came to my tests, i did fairly well, scoring at lowest a high C on my english test and my Highest an A on my comparitve final. everything else was in between those two. let me tell you that stepping out of my last final on friday and walking out into freedom(or summer if you want to call it that), was BEAUTIFUL. my immeadiate problem was not knowing how to spend my time over the summer. of course in have my cosplay that i want to finish, but there has to be other things that i can do. well, mandy fixed that problem by lending me .Hack//G.U. Rebirth.

OMG!!!!!!! I AM SO FREAKIN ADDICTED TO THIS SHIT! THE DAY I GOT IT FROM MANDY I POPPED IT INTO MY MACHINE AND LIKE STARRED AT THE SCREEN FOR 5 HOURS STRAIGHT. MY GOD SOMEONE PINCH ME. WHOEVER CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA IS A GENIUS. NOW I KNOW WHY EVERYONE WAS SO ATTACHED TO THIS GAME! ITS AMAZING!

*END RANT*
so yeah, i have been having a blast on the game, and at the time of this post, i am entering the first round of the demon palace tourney and going to fight borduex(i butchered that name lol) should be fun lolz. but i'll get to that later, as i need to sleep. got the family coming over tomorrow and then D.C. the day after! what a week ahead!

The Power of Christ Compells You( and other tidbits from my week)

WOW

What a week this has been with so much going on! Actually i'll be truthful, I have no idea what happened this week before wednesday, but I KNOW IT WAS UBER AMAZING. Lets put it this way, I had such a good time this week, that its ravaging my memory span. I do remember some things though. as much as i'd olike to remember the other stuff, what i can recall will be good enough.

Monday -Wednesday
*Feels sudden recolection coming on* Monday I was startled by a note given to me during my second period. Okay, so I wasnt startled, but more freaked out. It basically said that I had a doctors appointment. No big deal, right? Wrong. I was going to get my C-PAP machine, which when on helps me to breath at night. This was an amazing time for me, because now my plan to get a Lap Band was moving forward. A lap Band is a minimally invasive surgury where they put a saline filled band around a portion of my stomach, and it helps to supress apatite. I'll probably wait until i'm done with cosplay this year before I get the surgery, and even then, i'll only be out for a week or two at most. Monday = MAJOR hapiness points.

Tuesday was an easy day, no homework, and just plain fun in algebra II. 'Nough said.

Wednesday was a nice mental heath day. Well, at least once you look beyond the fact i was puking half the day, then I guess it was nice. No school for me lol. When i wasnt hunched over a toilet I was playing zelda, FFR, and reading some awesome stories on fan fiction. Nice day overall.

Thursday was BEAUTIFUL. Lovely weather really. But that wasnt the highlight of my day: it was the dancing. So Mandy, Laura and I went into the gym during lunch and used the drama departments HUMONGOUS stage. Manderz showed me and Laura the New Finale for next years cosplay stage event. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! WE ARE SO GOING TO FUCKING ROCK AT WHICHEVER CONS WE DECIDE TO GO TO. ELLIPSIS FOREVER!!!!!! So yeah it pretty much rocks. So we danced all during lunch, and if that wasnt enough, after school we rocked the place for almost 2 hours straight. My legs hurt so bad, but the felling of accomplishment more than makes up for it.

Friday was like Thursday, but add on the after school adventures. We again danced in the gym after school, and then took a road trip to Hollys house for some .hack goodness. I think was like an hour we were soley screaming at the TV: KILL HIM NOW! HACK HIM! DONT PRESS THE SQUARE BUTTON!!!!!!! I was hoarse by the end of it. So we pretty much hang out with Holly until she turned WEIRD and didnt come with us back to Mandys place. Once there, we watched clips from the exorcist(the power of christ compells you lol), which were very disgusting and creepy, watched some funny pranks, and pretty much just chilled until 9:30. Hanging out on a friday = MAJOR coolness points.

Then comes today. It was our pseudo mothers day and it was amazing. I cooked breakfast for her and did some house work. I didnt have money to get her anything, but i gave her some free time instead.

Overall, good week

And another cosplay packed sunday to follow. I love my life. PERIOD
